Sino Clubhouses Green Journey

Sino Clubhouses launched a Green Journey Programme in January 2022 involving various engagement activities, from the collection of English books and disposable eye care products to joining Food Angel’s Food Smart Buddy Programme by setting up smart food donation boxes as well as organising Eco Market, an initiative aimed at giving used items a second home.

• Eco Market 2022 - Residents set up booths and sold their second-hand items to the community. To encourage our stakeholders to join the Green Journey, a booth was also hosted by Sino Property Services at Hong Kong Gold Coast with over 400 second-hand items collected from colleagues.
• Food Donation – collected 4,900+ kg of food from smart food donation machines/boxes
• Usable Items Collection - 6,700+ kg of usable items such as clothes, electrical appliances and toys were collected. 
• Mooncake Boxes Recycle – collected 2,300+ pcs of mooncake boxes
• English Book Recycle – collected 1,500+ pcs of English books
• Eye Care Products Recycle – collected 35+ kg of plastic

Together with our residential community, we hope to keep driving a circular economy for a future with less waste, building a more sustainable environment by actively putting recycling into practice.
