Sino Properties Recycled Over 3,000 Mooncake Boxes

Every year, a large quantity of waste is produced after Mid Autumn Festival. Amongst which, mooncake boxes is the majority. To protect the environment and minimize the burden of the reclamation area, the over 180 properties under Sino Estates Management Limited organized the 'Mooncake Box Recycling Campaign' and successfully collected over 3,000 boxes.

Mr Sunny Yeung, Direct & General Manager of SEML said, 'We are holding the campaign every year and with the overwhelming support from our residents and occupants, an encouraging result of over 3,000 boxes was recorded within 2 weeks!'

SEML has been committed in promoting environmental conservation. Various recycling programmes are joint held with different organizations which include Recycling of PC and Electricity Appliances with EPD, Recycling of Old Books with World Vision, Recycling of Old Clothes with Salvation Army, Recycling of Old Stationery with St Christopher's Home, Collection of Festive Candies for St James' Settlement, etc. Through relocation of resources, the planet is preserved while more people are offered help.
