Sino Property Services receive 3,000 metal mooncake boxes from customers

Every year a large amount of recyclable metal mooncake boxes are dumped in landfills after the Mid Autumn Festival. To help stop the wastage, Sino Property Services (SPS) joined hands with Christian Action to organise the Mooncake Box Recycling Campaign across 180 properties during the festive period. Almost 3,000 mooncake boxes (2,789 pieces) were collected this year. All proceeds received from the sale will be donated to Christian Action to promote environmental and social services projects.

Mr Sunny Yeung, Executive Director of Sino Group said, "This is the forth year we have organised this campaign. Over the years, 12,000 or more mooncake boxes have been recycled via the campaign. This effort helps the needy through the reallocation of resources and also increases awareness about caring for the environment."

SPS devotes considerable time and resources to community services and has built partnerships with various organizations to run large-scale projects, many of which are related to environmental conservation. Below are recent results of a few SPS annual recycling projects:
